Description

"As a PhD scholar at CAS, my research focuses on understanding the spatio-temporal variability of carbon dioxide (CO₂) and its underlying drivers over the Indo-Gangetic Plain (IGP). By integrating observations (including satellite and in-situ) and chemical transport modelling (such as WRF-GHG), I aim to investigate and quantify the sources and sinks of CO₂ over the IGP. My current research focuses on three key areas: monitoring CO₂ variability over the IGP, quantifying the contributions of fossil fuels and the biosphere, and understanding the drivers of CO₂ across the region. I am particularly interested in integrating observational datasets with modelling frameworks to better constrain regional carbon dynamics and advance our understanding of carbon-climate interactions, with relevance to climate mitigation efforts."
